The Misneach Orchestra, a dynamic new ensemble featuring top-tier Irish traditional and classical musicians from across the country, with deep roots in CCÉ Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The orchestra is currently performing the Misneach Suite, a newly composed body of work by Kildare’s own Ciarán FitzGerald, an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and conductor for the group.
Misneach brings together the vibrant soul of traditional Irish music with fresh influences from across the island, seamlessly intertwined with classical artistry. Performed by an exceptional orchestra of over 50 top-class musicians, this unique concert showcases newly composed pieces that honour the deep roots of Irish tradition while pushing boundaries in bold, innovative directions.
